Airplane cabin

Built as a cabin throughout: curved ceiling with cove lighting, overhead lockers, and a window in the wall looking out over cloud. The leather seats recline flat. Three cabin sets are photographed here, each fitted out differently. The quietest rooms in the house.

Clinic room

An eye chart on the wall, a dark wood counter with an orchid and an examination unit, and two wooden treatment beds behind a glass partition with pale green curtains. Cool and clean, lit warm.

Boxing ring

An oxblood leather bed set inside cage mesh and ropes, under a circular light trough and a ring lamp, with a speed bag and gloves on the wall. The strongest colour in the venue, and the same palette the house runs everywhere else.

Gym room

Dumbbell racks and kettlebells along a mirrored wall, suspension straps from the ceiling, dark mats over teak flooring, and a window onto green space at dusk. The largest room of the six.

Hospital room

An adjustable bed with a curtain divider, wall lights and display shelves set into wood panelling, and a white platform with towels opposite. A different room from the clinic — different set, different scale.

Classroom

Teak wainscoting, a blackboard covered in equations, a wall clock and a ceiling fan, a long wooden table and bench by the window with the blinds half drawn. The plainest and the brightest of them.

The venue describes itself as having more than 20 scenario rooms. This site only writes up the rooms it has a photograph of; the rest are listed by name only.

How to choose a room

The room is the evening, not the decoration. Decide the mood first and pick from there.

Open and quiet — the airplane cabin: leather seats, a window onto cloud, the softest light in the house
Something stronger — the boxing ring: oxblood leather inside cage mesh, under a ring light
Bright and ordinary — the classroom: teak panelling, a blackboard, a long wooden table
Rooms depend on what is free that day. Say which one you want when you book and we will hold it
